IPL bumper performance reward, come back in India after two years
The announcement of the Indian cricket team for the three-match ODI series against England has been announced on Tuesday. Ambati Rayudu's return to the team two years later.
The Indian selection committee, in a meeting in Bangalore on Tuesday, announced the team for the one-day series against England under the chairmanship of Chairman MS K Prasad and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Amitabh Chaudhary.
Simultaneously, India's young player Siddharth Kaul has been included in the Indian ODI team for the first time. This will be the first ODI series for Siddhartha at international level. He is currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The ODI series between India and England starts on July 12. The first match will be played at Nottingham's Trent Bridge Stadium. In addition, on July 14, the second match will be played at Lords of London and the third match on July 17 at Leeds's Headingley field.
Rayudu, who returned to the Indian team for the ODI series, played his last ODI against Zimbabwe on June 15, 2016. Since then, he did not get a chance to return to the team.
Rayudu is consistently performing well in the 11th season of the IPL by Chennai Super Kings. From his bat so far, 423 runs have been played in 10 matches and at present the Orange Cap holder.
