IPL 2018: Big blow given by the Board to the most expensive Indian bowler;
Before the start of the 40th match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League, the Rajasthan Royals star player got a big jolt by the selectors of the Indian cricket team.
With a high bid of Rs 11.50 crore, left-arm fast bowler Jaidev Unadkat, who joined the Rajasthan Royals team, completely ignored the five T20 matches.
After the IPL, India have to play two T20 matches against Ireland and two T20 matches against England, but till now the team's bowling alley, Unadkat, has shown the way out of the board.
Unadkat, who returned to India in 2017, has played 10 T20 matches for India so far and for some time he was considered to be the best bowler of T20 cricket but due to poor performance in the IPL, the selectors did not include him in the team.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jaspreet Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav and Umesh Yadav have been called back in the team. All of them were rested in the T20 TRI Series Nidas Trophy played in Sri Lanka.
Jaidev Unadkat with Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant and Vijay Shankar have been shown the way out of the team.
India will play two T20 matches with Ireland on 27 and 29 June. The team will then leave for the England tour.
The first T20 match in England will be Manchester's Old Trafford on July 3, the second T20 on July 6, Cardiff and the third T20 match will be played in Bristol on July 8.
The only team selected for the two series - Virat Kohli (Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, Suresh Raina, Manish Pandey, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wicketkeeper), Dinesh Karthik, Yuswendra Chahal, Washington Sunder, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar , Jaspreet Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Siddharth Kaul, Umesh Yadav
