India's fastest bowler after 'best performance' is expected to return
HIGHLIGHTS
- Jharkhand's Varun Aaron is counted among India's fastest bowlers.
- Aron could not confirm his place in the team due to injury
- After being unsold in the IPL, Aron went to the county where his performance was spectacular
For the last three-four years, the fast bowler Varun Aaron, who is out of the Indian team, hopes he can play for the country once with the help of the county. Aaron, who is an unsold in the IPL, is playing county cricket on behalf of Leicestershire in England.
Arun, who debuted in 2011, has played nine Tests and so many matches. He played against his previous Test against South Africa in Bangalore in 2015 and in the last ODI against Sri Lanka in Cuttack. At one point Aron was counted among India's fastest bowlers but bad form and more injury left him out of the ground.
Aaron said that he is bowling best for Leicestershire in the county. He said, "I am expecting a call from the national team, I would like to do my best here (county) and this (selection) is in the hands of selectors. They have to decide whether I am ready to play for India again or not. I think I am fit and bowling my best. "
The right-handed 28-year-old fast bowler said that he had to change his bowling style because the opposition teams created flat pitches.
He said, "I got the advantage of playing in these situations. When I came here, I thought that the pacers would get help pacers, but the opposite happened. Toss rules are applicable in England, in which if the team thinks that the wicket will help, then they can choose to bowl without toss. "
Aaron said, "Because of this rule, many teams are making flat pitches and I had to improve on these pitches. I had never had to bowl like that before. "
Aaron took four wickets for 65 runs against Glamorgan and two for 66 while the team could win after 19 matches.
Aaron said, "I used to depend on the swing bowlers to take the first wicket, but after the first match, I felt that I had to bowl a good inswinger."
He said, "My experience in the county has been fantastic. As a bowler, you get to learn. You have to face the pressure of being a foreign bowler, so you are also under pressure to do better. "
