Bangladesh's new cricket stadium can challenge Eden Gardens

Eden Gardens, the biggest cricket stadium in the Asia subcontinent, will soon be challenged. India's neighboring country, Bangladesh is planning to build the world's cricket stadium, which is bigger and more modern than Eden Gardens.

Kolkata: Eden Gardens, the biggest cricket stadium in the Asia sub-continent, is going to get the challenge soon. India's neighboring country, Bangladesh is planning to build the world's cricket stadium, which is bigger and more modern than Eden Gardens. According to the reports, it will be ready within two years.
Bangladesh Cricket Board Chairman Nazmul Hassan said that he is going to prepare one of the world's best stadiums in East Bazar and it will be named after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
"We want him to be one of the best stadiums in the world," Hassan said after the end of the ICC Board meeting. We hope for the best. ''
This stadium will be the 'Center of Excellence' of cricket in Bangladesh and their plan is to build a stadium of at least 50 thousand viewers' capacity.
The capacity of Eden Gardens is approximately 68 thousand viewers. The BCB is still waiting for the allocation of land from the government.
Hassan said, "We are waiting for the land. The sooner we get the land, the stadium will be ready as soon as possible. If we get the ground, then the BCB itself will build the stadium. This will be the best stadium in Bangladesh whose viewer capacity is at least 50 thousand. ''
He said, "Hopefully we will prepare it within a one and a half to two years time." It will be one of the world's most advanced stadiums. ''
