RR vs RCB: Gopal's spinner dreams of winning the IPL for Kohli, playoffs near Rajasthan
Shreyas Gopal (4 overs 16 runs 4 wickets) helped Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 30 runs and out of the play-off race. With this, Virat Kohli once again dreamed of winning the IPL title broke.
Virat Kohli, who kept the hopes of playoff after winning the hat-trick of the win, got the target of 165 for a win in the last league match. But in the end the team all out at 134 runs in 19.2 overs. AB de Villiers scored the highest 53 runs for RCB but as soon as he got out, Rajasthan made a strong comeback and took the game away.
With this victory Rajasthan has got 14 points but it will have to wait till tomorrow to reach the play-off. In the second match played today, if the Kolkata Knight Riders gets defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan's hopes will increase.
RCB started well to achieve the record target of 165 runs, captain Powar Kohli returned after scoring 4 runs. Gotham made him clean-bold.
