RCBvDD: Kohli-De Villiers, hope for RCB, lose by five wickets in Delhi
New Delhi: RCB has kept its hopes of reaching the playoffs of IPL 11 with the help of Captain Kohli and De Villiers's horoscope shifts. On Delhi's Firozshah Kotla ground last night, Kohli and De Villiers did not have one in Delhi and they had to face losing five wickets.
Delhi Daredevils could not break the lead in their home too.
Rishabh Pant (61) and batting first, Abhishek Sharma (46), playing his first IPL match, scored 181 runs at the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Bangalore, after winning the five-wicket haul by an innings of 72, and a century from Captain Virat Kohli (70), Abraham De Villiers (unbeaten 72).

Kohli hit 40 balls in his 50th over and hit seven fours and three sixes. He was caught by Amit Mishra at the score of 136 at the hands of Pant. Mandeep Singh (13) was out at the total of 158. As Sardaraj Khan (11), Bangalore lost their fifth wicket in the fifth ball of the 18th over.
De Villiers scored his sixth ball on the last ball of the 19th over to give his team victory. In his unbeaten innings, De Villiers hit six sixes and four fours in 37 balls.
Earlier, after the departure of Pant, it was taking time that Delhi would not be able to reach the total of 160, but Abhishek finally hit four fours and three fours in 19 balls, Over 181 runs on the wicket damage.

From here Abhishek stepped on the wicket and got runs fast. All-rounder Vijay Shankar gave his best and scored 21 runs in 20 balls with the help of two fours. Both shared a challenging score with a 61-run partnership for the fifth wicket to give Delhi a challenging score.
Yugavendra Chahal took two wickets for Bangalore. Siraj and Ali got one success.
