Although Darren Lehmann was given a clean chit in the Ball Tempering dispute. But Lehmann had decided to resign from the team post after the fourth and final Test against South Africa. Lehmann's contract was with the Australian team until the 2019 One Day World Cup. After the appointment of coach, Australian fans are awaiting the announcement of the captain of the three formats of their team.
