Gold Coast: Indian shooter Tejaswini Sawant has captured the Silver Medal at the women's 50m rifle prone event on the eighth day of the 21st Commonwealth Games being played in Australia. Sawant won Silver Medal while securing second place with a score of 618.9. Singapore's Lindsay Veloso scored a record 621.0 and held the gold medal while making a record in Commonwealth Games.

Scotland's Seoned Mcintosh scored the bronze medal of 618.1. In the final of this event, another Indian shooter Anjum Modgil has done a disappointing performance. He finished 16th with a score of 602.2.
