Bangladesh's announcement of the team for the series in India
Mushtaq Hussain's return to the Bangladesh T-20 squad for the series of three T-20 matches to be played against Afghanistan has come back. The selectors of Bangladesh cricket team have included Hussein in the team for the Twenty20 series. However, in this team, batsmen Imrul Kayes, Taskin Ahmed and wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan have not been able to get the place.
The benign government, fast bowler Abu Zayed and Abu Haider, who scored 50 runs in five innings in the Nidas Trophy, have been retained in the T20 squad for this series.
Chief selector Minhajul Abedin said, "We had raised questions about joining the benign team, but Captain Shakib al-Hasan and coach Courtney Walsh thought it would be right to keep them in the team."
Bangladesh will play three-20 matches against Afghanistan in Dehradun on three, five and seven June. This will be the first bilateral T-20 series between the two teams.
