Former Test cricketer Colin Bland died of South Africa
Former South African Test player and legendary fielder Colin Blind passed away last Saturday. He was 80 years old. Bland, Cologne was suffering from cancer. Blend has played 21 tests for South Africa between 1961 and 1966.

According to the website ESPNcricinfo's report, Blind has played first-class cricket for Rohdsia. He played Test matches against New Zealand in 1961. He played 98 runs in this match. It was only after this innings that he was involved in the Test team of South Africa.
That year he played all five Test matches against New Zealand. He was known for his great fielding.
In 1966-67, he was with the team in the win against Australia. He played only the first Test match in this series, in which he was hurt by his knee. This injury had ended his international career.
After that he continued to play for Rohdiah and later he was also the coach of the team.
