CWG 2018, Day 10 LIVE: Wrestling and Boxing in India for the 10th day, won 6 Gold

CWG 2018: Amit Pangal won the silver medal in Boxing Men's 46-49 kg 

Gold Coast: Today is the 10th day of the 21st Commonwealth Games being played in Australia. 9th day was very good for India and added 3 gold to India's account. In the Games, India has so far won 18 gold and remained at the third spot in the medal table. With the highest 66 gold wins, Australia is at number one in the medal table, while England is on second place with 31 gold.

                                                   

• In the 21st Commonwealth Games, India has won a total of 51 medals so far. These include 23 gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze. India is at third place in the medal table. Australia, with 70 gold, and England at second place with 37 gold.


• Another gold has come to India's account. Vineesh won gold medal in the freestyle 50 kg event. In the final match, Vineet defeated Canadian wrestler Jessica McDonald


• India's star wrestler Sakshi Malik won the Bronze Medal. Sakshi Malik was unable to win the 62kg Freestyle semi-final match. After its defeat, Sakshi Malik won the bronze medal match.


• Saina Nehwal and P.V., two veteran Indian players from Indian Badminton. Between Indus, there will be a collision for the Women Singles Gold. Both the players won their respective semi-final matches on Saturday and made it to the final. With this, it was decided that Gold and Silver of Women singles in badminton will come in the part of India.


• Another gold has arrived in India's part in the Commonwealth Games. Neeraj Chopra won gold medal by throwing 86.47 meters in Jawlien Throw.


• India has so far received 20 gold, 13 silver and 14 bronze medals. India has won 47 medals in the medal tally at the third spot. England, with the highest number of 69 gold and first place with 37 gold, is in second place.


• Another silver medal has arrived in India's account. Manish Kaushik got silver in the 60 kg event of boxing. In the final match Manish had to face defeat in Australia's Harry.


• India has got another gold medal in shooting. Sanjeev Rajput won the Gold Medal in the 50m Rifle Three Position Final Event. Sanjeev captured the gold medal with record 454.5 points.


• India has got the second gold medal for this Commonwealth Games in Boxing today. Gaurav Solanki defeated Ireland's Braden Irwin in the 52kg event final.


• Amit Pangal won the silver medal in Boxing Men's 46-49 kg event. In the final, Amit had to face defeat in Galle Yafai of England.


• Another gold has come to India's account. Indian wrestler Sumit defeated Taib Raj of Pakistan in the free-style 125kg event. Sumit won this match 10-4.


• India's female boxer Mary Kom has created a new history in the Commonwealth Games. Marie Com has become the first female player to win gold at the Commonwealth Games boxing event. Marie Com won gold medal in Commonwealth Games for the first time by defeating Christina O'Hara of England in the final of Boxing 5-0.


• England's women's hockey team defeated India by 6-0 in the match played for Bronze Medal and kept them out of medal. England played one-sided in this match and attacked the attack, which India did not have the answer to.


• India's shooters Sanjeev Rajput and Chain Singh have made it to the final of the rifle-3 position event. Rajput and Chain Singh secured first and second position in the qualification.


• Satvik Siraj Ranchardadi and Chirag Shetty have made a place in the Badminton Man's Double Event final. The Indian pair reached the semi-finals by defeating Sri Lankan Diaz Sachin and Gone Thieleka Bunavana.
